We are excited to have you join us for our Sunday gathering! We are working hard to make a space that helps build confidence for you and your family to worship Jesus safely and joyfully with His people. Here are some things to consider as you register.
Our motivation is to love God and love people neither over-reacting in fear or under-reacting in pride, but listening for the leading of the Holy Spirit as we continue navigating this current “season” of ministry.
We will strive to be good neighbors, and to support the efforts of our government as they work to establish control over the current COVID-19 pandemic.
Register for a gathering
As the world transitions to a new normal, we are now hosting in-person gatherings with two sections of seating: distanced and non-distanced. To create as safe of an environment as possible, we are asking people to pre-register for Sunday gatherings at 9 AM and 11 AM if they desire distanced seating or Missio Kids Discipleship. Registration will not be collected for those sitting in the non-distanced sections. You can simply just show up if you are comfortable and desire to sit in a non-distanced section of our gatherings.
Registration for the upcoming Sunday Gathering will become available each Monday. There is limited space in the distanced seating section as well as Missio Kids discipleship, so feel free to register for the waitlist if your desired registration is already full. If there are cancellations or we are able to accommodate more attendees, we will follow up with you as soon as possible.
When registering, make sure to include a ticket for every member of your household that will be attending the gathering and requiring his or her own seat in a distanced seating section. If you are registering any kids for a classroom, you DO NOT need to include them in your “Main Gathering” registration amount.
Kids discipleship
Missio Kids discipleship is open on the first 3 Sundays of each month for both the 9 AM and 11 AM gatherings. You can RSVP your child(ren) using the same link as the main gatherings above. There is limited space and the Grade School class is not open yet. The only classes we have open currently are infants, toddlers, and preschool. Stay tuned for more updates regarding Grade School classes. Any questions about Missio Kids discipleship can be directed toward Rachel Leak at kids@missiodei.org
FAQ’s
What do I need to do when I show up?
Check-in with our volunteer team at the welcome desk as you enter the building and they will let accompany you to your registered seats. Please do your best to practice social distancing of 6 feet while in the building.
You will park in the main parking lot at Essex Studios or the overflow lot immediately across the street from main parking lot. There will be signs strategically placed to guide you into the right place.
What if I don’t register?
We will only be permitting people who have registered to enter into the building. We have a limited amount of seats available with social distancing standards and they will be reserved for those who have registered.
Do I need to wear a face mask?
As of June 2nd, we are no longer under a mask mandate. Although we are no longer requiring masks to be worn in our spaces, you can still continue to wear one freely if doing so helps you feel more comfortable with attending.
Will you provide any personal protective equipment?
We will be working hard to supply hand sanitizer throughout the building as supply is available, and face masks for those attending who do not have their own and desire to wear one. We will also have a thorough cleaning regiment, antimicrobial hand soap, and other safety measures in place to give you confidence to joyfully worship Jesus with us.
Will you serve coffee?
We are not currently serving coffee during Sunday gatherings, but have plans to begin doing so very soon. Feel free to bring a cup of coffee with you.
Will you serve communion?
We will be serving communion. It will be factory sealed and distributed by our volunteer team. You will find one communion cup per registration on your seats as you come into the gathering space.
