Our Missio Kids & Students ministries includes children and students from birth through age 18 (infants through middle & high school). In all these ministries, we have the same mission: to bring glory to God by making disciples who are gospel centered, city focused and connected to a church community. Because we believe that Scripture is clear that parents are the primary disciple-makers in the lives of their children, our hope is to partner with parents in their pursuit of this mission, coming alongside them in the discipleship process. We do this in many ways, but especially through the various resources that we curate. These resources help build a strong, gospel-centered foundation for their kids.
Infants & Toddlers
For our youngest children we want to provide a safe and welcoming place where children can learn that God made them and he loves them. We want the children to know that church is a safe place where adults outside of mom and dad take care of them.
Preschool
For our preschool kiddos we are striving to create the first building blocks of a strong, gospel-centered foundation for our children. We teach from the Scriptures and help parents proclaim to their kids who God is and what He has done in the person and work of Jesus Christ. We start to introduce the children to the joys of scripture memorization and why this is good for them personally.
Grade school
With grade schoolers we are working to continue building up a strong, gospel-centered foundation for our children. We do this by teaching our kids about the nature and character of God—that He is wise, generous, loving and good. Jesus is the center, he is our hope and salvation. Our hope is to partner with parents in the discipleship of their children by creating environments, curriculum and resources that center on the gospel of Jesus Christ.
pre-teens and teens
Our Students Ministry (6th–12th grade) is a place for students to have fun, find friends and explore their faith. We want to lead them to faith in Jesus and help them to connect to the Church. Our hope is to partner with parents in helping students go deeper with each other, their leaders and, most importantly, God.
