Apply for Foster & Adoption Assistance
Adoption and foster care can come with real financial barriers. But families shouldn’t have to walk through them alone. Missio’s Foster & Adoption Ministry Fund exists to help remove tangible obstacles so more families can joyfully respond to the call to care for vulnerable children.
Why this fund exists
Our people give generously towards this work and we have established a Foster and Adoption fund with the purpose of removing tangible barriers that inhibit others from responding joyfully to the call to participate in foster care and adoption.
The fund is designed to help offset expenses like:
- Adoption agency fees
- Home study expenses
- Legal or court-related costs
- Placement-related needs
- Urgent foster care needs
- Other approved foster/adoption-related expenses
- Counseling or family support resources
How This Works
During the months of June-July and October-November, applications will be accepted. You do not have to be a member of Missio Dei Church to apply for a grant. Every application will be reviewed prayerfully and thoughtfully by ministry leadership within the month. Once you apply, you can expect to hear back from our team within 6 weeks of submission.
