  • In Isaiah 49:1-7 we talked about the Servant embodying redemption for the Nations. How does our culture define redemption? In what ways are people seeking redemption? What or who are people seeking redemption from?

  • Jesus is the embodiment of God's redemption. In Christ God, is with us and for us to save us. In the power of the Spirit, we are to be God's people who embody redemption for the nations by being a light to the nations (Matthew 5:14-16). How are we as a community presenting God's redemption to the people around us? How are we letting our lights shine before others so that they will see our good works and glorify God as a result?
     
  • Jesus sends the Spirit who is God with us and God for us. In the power of the Spirit, we are to be God's people who embody redemption. one way we do this is by going and being with people. How are we as a community spending time with God's people? In what ways are we as a community spending time with unbelieving people? In what ways are we avoiding time with God's people and unbelievers? What can we do to create space for people who aren't a part of our community to become a part of our community?
     
  • Jesus is the embodiment of God's redemption. In Christ, God is with us and for us. In the power of the Spirit, we are to be God's people who embody redemption. One way we do this is by going and being for people. How are we as a community obeying God's words? In what ways are we displaying our value for the words and work of Jesus through humble holy obedience?
